Who we need
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join National Geographic Partners as a Subscriptions Analyst & Campaign Manager. Reporting to the Marketing Circulation Director and focused on acquisition and retention you will be responsible for the management and development of subscriptions of the English Language magazine edition in Europe and Africa.

Who you are
You will have huge enthusiasm for generating and retaining subscriptions using all available channels. You will be able to provide valuable insights to the business to help assess performance, build targets and understand our customers. Results driven, you will have an obsession with the detail, be able to write copy that drives engagement and be on the look-out for opportunities to expand our audiences. You will be a passionate team-player who has strong organisational skills and can communicate with key stakeholders and third party agencies.
In this role you will:
Drawing on industry knowledge/trends and audience/marketplace/brand insights you will be responsible for multichannel acquisition and retention campaigns both above and below the line.
Working with the Director to grow the subscription business, you will have the ambition to take it to the next level and will focus on the following key responsibilities:
• Develop, manage and monitor each subscription campaign plan.
• Create relevant copy and marketing assets to engage audiences
• Report on results and performance to assess impact of event and apply learnings.
• Lead the delivery of all analysis and understandings of datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities.
• Work closely with the digital agency to help monitor KPIs, make informed judgements, address tracking issues and facilitate new digital initiatives.
• Develop deep understanding of our customer segments behaviours to answer key business challenges and opportunities.
• Work closely with all digital stakeholders to define and develop our UX digital roadmap and propose recommendations to fully optimise the user's journey.
• Help develop holistic dashboards and ad hoc reports to effectively assess performance against industry benchmarks and business targets.
• Develop a thorough working knowledge of National Geographic's media assets, technologies and processes in order to cost effectively exploit all subscription marketing opportunities.
• Proactively seek out external marketing partnership opportunities to target new audiences.
Qualifications
and Experience:
Significant working experience in a subscriptions or recurring payment environment with a proven track record of improving revenues and profits across multiple marketing channels. This individual will also have:
• Possess a passion for deep data exploration to identify the answers to strategic business questions
• Thorough knowledge of social platforms from a paid media perspective
• Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation
• Ability to effectively break down business questions into their key components, identify appropriate data sources and methodology and translate findings into actionable insights
• Strength in idea generation and creativity
• Exceptional analytical and influencing skills to provide insight as well as recommendations
• Attention to detail and strong organisational/project management skills
• Customer focused with sound commercial acumen
• History of success working independently and across departments
• Ability to work in a fast paced organisation where flexibility is key and direction can change frequently
• Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Problem solving skills to provide fresh and creative responses to new challenges
• Integrity to set the standard for quality and professionalism as a representative for NG
• A highly motivated self-starter keen to excel with minimum supervision but also comfortable with collaboration.
• Enthusiasm with a positive can-do attitude
