JOB DESCRIPTION
The Global Programming Coordinator serves as the central contact for all programming updates as related to international. This position acts as a conduit, facilitating the flow of information between regional schedulers and US/London-based programming teams. The key responsibilities of this position include regional communication, database management, program planning and some departmental/executive support.
Responsibilities
• Regional Communication.
• Database Management -create program records and update as needed.
• Program Planning --stay abreast of regional/local program strategy and keep regions aware of US plans.
• Operations -identify issues with delivery or other pipeline issues.
• Editorial / Screening -build familiarity with programming and provide context when making suggestions on how to schedule or categorize shows.
• Departmental & Executive Support. -provides general administrative support and assist with visiting VIP's.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years Television or Programming experience.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills demonstrated through professional interactions with other departments and all levels. Must possess cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasker who is efficient and resourceful. Strong organizational skills including time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent database management and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
