NAACP Hollywood Bureau Summer Production Internship

SUMMARY:
NAACP Hollywood Bureau Summer Internship Program is a ten (10) week internship program for undergraduate students who will work five (5) days a week with Hollywood Bureau staff and will assist with the planning and managing of Bureau events for the Annual Convention.
The internship program is in person in Los Angeles, CA from May 26 through July 31, 2026.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Reporting to the Production Manager of Hollywood Bureau, responsibilities of the NAACP Hollywood Bureau Summer Production Intern include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Assist NHB production team with ongoing projects that may include video packages, audio recordings or
online content.
• Attend meetings as assigned.
• Help to coordinate and produce Hollywood Bureau Convention events.
• Occasional administrative work.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess many, if not all, of the following professional qualifications, competencies and personal qualities:
• Is currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to operate confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge SharePoint.

$18.50 /hour USD
