Mustache is seeking a rock-star Associate Producer to join our growing team. The scope of Mustache's productions ranges from branded digital content and broadcast commercials, to original series for network and OTT platforms. The Associate Producer is an integral member of the production team that drives their assigned projects from concept to completion. With supervision and direction from the project's Producer, the AP takes ownership of researching, sourcing, and executing on a shoot's creative elements (casting, location, art, props, and wardrobe). The AP distills the creative vision of the project into a production plan that can be executed within the project's budget and timeline. Responsibilities:
-Works closely w/ Producers, Directors, Creative Directors, DPs, and Art Dept. to execute creative vision;
-Reviews scripts and distills creative element needs into and organized plan;
-Conducts casting calls, casting research, and negotiates deals with talent and agents;
-Conducts location research and scouts, secures shoot locations and negotiates rates;
-Creates casting, location, prop, and wardrobe decks for internal and client review;
-Oversees execution of all related duties on set and takes field notes on shoots;
-Collects and maintains talent, location, and materials releases;
-Supported by staff Production Coordinators and PAs.
Requirements:
-Minimum 1-2 year's experience as AP on digital or commercial productions;
-Able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously;
-Maintain professionalism working with high profile talent and clientele;
-Willing to travel domestically or abroad;
-Must be both logistically and creatively inclined;
-Strong knowledge of release protocol and negotiating deal points a must;
-Passionate about your craft and excited by new and challenging opportunities.
