Intern - Music Publishing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Interns will participate in projects and a variety of activities including A&R, catalog research, critiquing incoming music and daily administrative tasks. Interns will also learn the sale of music in film & TV (music licensing and synchronization), the structure of publishing deals between the artist and publishing company, and will expand their knowledge of music genres, artists and songwriters.

We are seeking individuals with a particularly strong passion for music and the music business. Candidates must possess good communication skills, the ability to multitask and work within deadlines. Sufficient computer and Internet skills are a must. Qualified candidates must be well spoken, very detail oriented, have thorough follow-up skills, exceptional organization skills and the ability to work in a fast paced intense environment.

This is a hands-on internship and a great stepping-stone into the music industry. Questions are always allowed - Music Sales is a very friendly office and executives want to educate the next generation. Only eager candidates need apply, as this is a highly competitive internship.
