Established Media Brand is seeking a Freelance Producer to oversee the development, direction, and production of short-form video series (centered around food) created specifically for digital and social platforms. These videos will be filmed in the top down style (similar to the ones all over your Facebook feed). These videos will live on a variety of platforms, with a strong emphasis on Facebook and YouTube (other platforms may include Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter). You should also be able to identify key reasons why a video performed the way it did and be able to iterate or improve. You MUST know how to iterate recipes from concept to finished video product. This role will report to the Director, Lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
+ Write, create, direct, and produce short-form video for all platforms with an emphasis on Facebook and YouTube
+ Work with internal production and production management team to help bring ideas to fruition
+ Coordinate with editor to give notes on first round of edits
Requirements:
+ 3-4 years experience working in production
+ Experience and great understanding of social and digital platforms (emphasis on Facebook and YouTube)
+ Must know how to cook. No need to be Ina Garten-level but we want someone that has experience in the kitchen but no need to be a full-fledged chef
+ Extensive history of working in a very collaborative work environment
+ Must be able to pivot and adapt when company strategies and goals change
+ Passion and understanding of how to relate to a youth audience
+ Deep production knowledge
+ Ability to work under tight deadlines in a stressful environment while maintaining high output.
