The MTV Entertainment Group is seeking a Coordinator to join our Paid Social team. We handle the media planning, strategy & execution across all social networks â€'' big and small â€'' to reach our fans across social media. Our brands include MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, VH1, TV Land, CMT, Smithsonian Channel, Pop TV, and Logo.
The Coordinator, Paid Social will contribute to the execution of paid advertising campaigns on key digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Google Search, and more for all marketing priorities across our organization.
This candidate will report directly to the Paid Social Manager and will work closely with the Consumer Marketing and Brand Social teams to execute paid social campaigns for show premieres, tentpole events, fan development, social impact and more!
Responsibilities:
• Execute paid social campaigns on self-service advertising platforms including Google AdWords, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other emerging platforms
• Compile social audience insights from a variety of sources to inform campaign planning and execution
• Build and design campaign summary and recap presentations to be shared with key partners
• Manage the submission and delivery of creative requests for social ads, emails, and display units
• Assist w/cross-departmental collaboration efforts (integrated marketing, consumer products, etc.)
• Build launch emails and decks to showcase our work
• Pull final campaign reporting
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 years of experience (publisher, agency or media brand preferred)
• Media planning or buying experience, with exposure to paid advertising on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other digital/search/social platforms strongly preferred
Additional Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google suites
• Self-motivated, with a desire to learn and grow quickly
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work independently as well as across different teams and personalities with a positive attitude
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Proficient understanding of all social platforms - including emerging platforms and trends
• Basic Photoshop and video editing preferred but not required
• Passion for our brands and all things pop culture!
