This is a Full Time Job
The Senior Accountant will play an integral part of the operational accounting group supporting the day-to-day processes as well as the monthly and quarterly book close. The Senior Accountant will provide on-going financial support around transactions with related parties. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, and support for the VP, Accounting.
What will you do?
• Prepare journal entries from a variety of source documentation specifically associated with related party transactions
• Transform related party settlement and journal entry process, including expanding the functionality of our general ledger
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly related party settlements.
• Liaise with key stakeholders across related party entities
• Assist with requests from Tax, External Auditors and Internal Auditors.
• Assist, recommend, and improve company-wide utilization of financial systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
• Complete special projects and respond to ad-hoc requests in an accurate and timely manner, as assigned.
What do you need to succeed?
• Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Accounting or Finance, or related discipline.
• 2 years of public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred, or 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, large public company environment.
• CPA strongly preferred
• Ability to interact with cross functional groups and executive management
• Strong understanding of monthly closing processes
• Strong knowledge of GAAP rules
• Ability to evaluate processes and recommend and implement more efficient practices and procedures
• Excellent quantitative analytical skills
• Experience with oracle and excellent PC, Excel and Word skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and open to learning new ways of working.
• Ability to embrace change with a flexible mindset, even if the way forward isn’t clear.
• Ability to be a reliable team member, capable of effective collaboration to achieve our shared goals across teams and departments.

Pay Range
$75,000 — $95,000 USD
