The Analyst Compensation is responsible for the administration of various compensation programs and collaborates with cross-functional HR teams to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals. The role is responsible for reviewing job descriptions and completing job evaluations for various business groups across the organization, generating reports and analyses on a regular and ad-hoc basis, providing insights to support salary decisions and employee retention, participation in annual salary surveys and assisting with executive compensation support. The Analyst Compensation is a team member in the People Investment Department and reports to the Senior Director Compensation.
What will you do?
• Conduct market research and reference salary surveys to determine industry pay standards for roles across the organization . Analyze internal pay data and identify trends.
• Completes analyses of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equity and external competitiveness and provides recommendations to HRBPs and Recruiting for promotions, adjustments, and new hire offer packages.
• Participates in the annual market pricing process to determine the company’s overall competitive position; makes recommendations regarding salary grades and market rates for specific jobs.
• Participation and administration of annual compensation surveys.
• Work closely with Compensation team members to provide support to HR Business Partners.
• Responsible for monthly minimum wage audits, including maintaining knowledge of federal/state laws and existing/emerging practices.
• Analyze data accuracy and integrity in the organization’s stock administration system and internal HR systems.
• Assist with the administration of the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) incentive program.
• Provides support for the year end semi-annual compensation process (i.e. performance management, merit/bonus planning).
• Completes ad-hoc projects as needed by Compensation/Human Resources management.
What do you need to succeed?
• 2 years of related professional experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting experience required; with data management preferred.
• Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw conclusions with meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities effectively.
• Ability to deliver high quality results in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to trouble shoot and problem solve proactively.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and open to learning new ways of working.
• Ability to embrace change with a flexible mindset, even if the way forward isn’t clear.
