MPRM Communications, a leader in serving the multi-screen world of media and entertainment, is seeking a passionate communicator with 5-8 years of experience who is savvy about corporate communications across streaming media, film, television, and tech. Our clients include major broadcast, cable and OTT networks, studios, filmmakers, distributors, new media companies, entertainment tech start-ups, publishers, consumer products and production companies.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent corporate communication skills who is proactive and excels at working with clients and brands to help define, shape, and tell their stories. The position will have direct client contact, developing high-level strategies, executing thought leadership initiatives, and heavy media outreach. We are seeking someone who is creative, strategic, goals oriented, enjoys pop culture and wants to work in a collaborative, friendly, and inspiring setting. Ours is a fast-paced environment and you must be able to juggle workload efficiently and effectively.
In addition to strong business and trade media relations, candidates must be experienced in securing speaking opportunities, placing bylines, and handling award submissions. Excellent writing skills are a must. We are looking for team players who are self-starters and have leadership potential. Agency experience is a BIG plus. Salary is commensurate with experience. We offer excellent benefits and an outstanding work environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong trade, business and consumer media relationships, in addition to relationships with conference organizers.
- Experience working with senior level execs.
- Superior writing and grammar skills.
- Pop culture savvy.
- Detail oriented, highly organized and creative.
- Experience managing teams.
- Works well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, able to juggle multiple projects and remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
- Candidate should be assertive, proactive and a team player.
- Exercise good judgment, flexibility, adaptability, resourcefulness and strong organizational/time management skills.
- Strong knowledge base of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, online outreach and partnership marketing).

- Bachelor's degree in public relations or related field preferred.
- Located in the Los Angeles metro area. This is a hybrid position
