Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) is seeking seeking a Delinquency Coordinator in our Audit and Collections Department. The Delinquency Coordinator tracks delinquent and/or inactive employers.
Essential Duties:
Monitor active employers for delinquency
Generate and review Delinquency Extract Report
Keep payroll entities informed of delinquent employers
Issue delinquency letters and final warning letters
Actively follow-up with employers
Work closely with other departments to identify issues with employers
Assist with special projects when needed
Qualifications:
AA degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; and or 2 or more years of experience
Strong organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent attention to detail with high level of accuracy
Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word, Outlook, and basic Excel
Adherence to confidentiality
Ability to adhere to organizational values and work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
Excellent attendance and reliability, with the ability to work overtime/extended hours as required
Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to:
Sit
Stand and walk
Spend extensive time working on a computer
Talk and hear
Use hands
Reach with hands and arms
Stoop and reach
Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds (such as a box of paper).
Use close vision with the ability to adjust focus

8 hour shift
