Administrative Support Associate - Full-time - Temporary Assignment
The Department:
The Retirement Benefits Department administers an employer-sponsored and employer funded retirement plan for the benefit of various Industry guilds and motion picture/television crafts.
Job Summary:
The Retirement Benefits Department administers sponsored and employer funded retirement plan for our participants. The Administrative Support Associate will support their efforts by assisting with document requests, coordinating communications, and other related activities.
Qualifications:
1-2 years' experience processing documents with heavy emphasis on math and legal concepts (such as retirement benefit applications and election forms) and working with numbers accurately and efficiently.
High school diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
MS Office skills including Outlook, Word and Excel at intermediate proficiency
Accurate typing skills of 45 wpm, 10-key by touch
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Self-starter; well organized in handling time and materials
Accurate and neat, strict attention to detail, high level of accuracy required
Able to prioritize work and follow through to completion
Reliable, responsible; able to work with minimum supervision
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Excellent attendance & punctuality record required
Available for overtime as needed
Essential Job Duties:
Prepare Participant documents for scanning.
Maintain the activity process log for the department.
Update Participant information, such as name, addresses and other related information on company systems.
Generate, analyze and mail participant's requests such as statements, benefit estimates, withdrawal, and retirement application).
Prepare and analyze various printouts and reports as required.
Distribute department mail.
Maintain participant/department files and supplies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
