Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans (MPI) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Compliance, Communication & Legal team. This individual will be assisting in the preparation of materials for benefits appeals for the Board of Directors and other related documents as well as provide administrative and coordination support for the department.
Responsibilities include:
Support, as directed, the preparation of MPI's benefits and appeals materials for the Board of Directors
Assist with preparation of other materials for the Board of Directors as needed
Assist with the preparation of other required communications as needed
Assist with taking minutes at required meetings and prepare follow-up summaries as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant role
Outstanding grammar, spelling, and punctuation a must
Clear, articulate verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous telephone manner
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Accurate typing skills of 45 wpm
Strict attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
