We'll be looking for interns who are able to do script and feature film coverage for our acquisitions team and perhaps assist/learn the acquisitions process itself by helping sift through films festivals for potential content. We also will be attending the American Film Market in November and will be looking for students who would like to learn more about the business/film sales/distribution side of the entertainment industry.
Also, we have an in-house marketing company, and we'd be happy to have interns who are more interested in graphic design and/or editing. We've got a team of designers in the office and a few freelance editors who work on film posters and trailers in addition to other design.
And finally, if that isn't enough, we'd love to get some marketing students involved. Part of our strategy is to really put the right marketing into each of our films. This includes writing copy, taglines, trailer scripts and more for all of our films. We'd love to share that experience with marketing interns and show them what goes into taking a film and curating a strategy to present it to consumers.
