Hello! We're MOpro.
We're a Los Angeles based company looking to hire a Seattle shooter for an upcoming job.
YOU, the Videographer/Photographer will be joining our on location freelance team and will become a key part in shooting and collecting raw video/photos for engaging and exciting promotional pieces for the web presence of small business. The ideal candidate has experience in creative shooting, possess a strong creative vision and has a passion for delivering quality content. Documentary experience a plus.
Pay is $200/per shoot -- with incentives given to those who provide exceptional work (as well as more opportunities to work!) . We will need you to interview the subject (we provide the questions) and record the audio. Then you will gather b-roll of the business doing what it does. And lastly, you will take about 50 RAW images. We provide the shot list, interview questions and provide information on the business so you know what to capture once you enter.
Here is the list of gear we would need you to provide for these shoots:
DSLR (Canon 7D, 5D, Nikon D series, NO TAPE)
Tripod with a fluid head
Lens package (at least one wide lenses, for capturing the full space of a venue (24mm or so) and a longer lenses, for getting those clue ups, like a 70-200)
Lighting package (such as a flo light or micro sun gun for interviews on the go, if you have something larger like a Barfly or Fatman kino is okay)
Audio recording device and microphone (IE a wireless lavaliere mic and a Zoom)
Also need the ability to transfer footage, right now we are shipping out rugged flash drives, having the shooter upload all the media and shipping it back (already paid for). We also ask that you hold on to these files as a back up until we received your media in the mail. Once we receive it, we will notify you and then you can delete.
