Digital-First Kids Entertainment Company looking for Post Graduate Creative Writer
Postgraduate Creative Writing Intern
6 Month Post Graduate Internship Salary: $530 per week
Start: ASAP
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Are you passionate about children's media, screenwriting and YouTube?
We are looking for recent graduates with experience in screenwriting to work with a new well-funded company in the children's entertainment industry. Candidates should be proactive, self-motivated and highly organized.
You'll be working on some of the biggest brands on YouTube and will quickly have exposure to running all activities on all of our current and development projects. Although not guaranteed, our intention is to find talent that we can form long-lasting working partnerships with.
Candidates should know how to properly write, edit and format scripts. They should also be comfortable ideating and brainstorming ideas for projects. This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to gain experience in a rapidly-growing market while also building a library of projects that they have assisted in writing and developing.
Experience using different types of online social media platforms is essential, especially YouTube and Facebook.

Responsibilities
• Creating and ideating stories, characters and worlds for established properties
• Writing and punching up pitch pages, bibles and scripts
• Building decks and pitch presentations
• Collaborating with fellow interns, production teams and creative executives on creative projects
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors Degree (preferred but not required)
• Familiarity with G-Suite
• Proficiency in Final Draft
• Creative adaptability and flexibility is a MUST
• Great communication skills, collaborative with a positive can-do attitude and a good sense of humor
• Ability to work under pressure managing multiple tasks, and an interest in taking on real responsibility within a rapidly growing and dynamic start-up
• Personal interest in children's entertainment is advantageous but not required
Timing: Temporary Full-time (6 Months)
