Position Overview:
Assist the Washington Wizards Sales & Service staff in game-day preparation by aiding in the sales process. Grow your inside sales skills in a hands-on work environment. This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities:
• Make outbound phone calls to provided lists of previous clients on behalf of senior sales representatives.
• Independently manage a small account base through the entire sales process.
• Develop relationships and network with senior level executives at Monumental Sports.
• Assist with fulfillment and activation of season ticket member benefits.
• Work all Washington Wizards games.
• Oversee promotional fulfillment and services for all home games.
• Assist in the setup and execution of special events.
• Work with all staff members on execution of sales and service fan experience processes.
• Compile and organize client and prospect databases.
• Research successful ticket sales campaigns to determine 'best practices'.
• Assist with direct mail and customer outreach campaigns.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification:
• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office & Outlook.
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation and housing.
