Position Overview: The Specialist, Franchise Sales is responsible for selling and servicing new accounts, prospecting in-arena during home games, and creating new ideas to increase ticket sales. This position will focus on demonstrate the value of ticket packages for the WNBA Washington Mystics and the NBA G-League Capital City Go-Go.

Responsibilities:
• Sell a full menu of ticket products for the Washington Mystics & Capital City Go-Go including, full and partial season memberships, group tickets and premium seating.
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals as well as weekly hustle metrics.
• Cordially and efficiently handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales products.
• Use creative tactics to build new sales opportunities.
• Actively pursue new business and decipher ways to acquire leads.
• Conduct face to face appointments both at games and out of office meetings to assist in closing new business, while developing business relationships.
• Quickly and efficiently detail all communication with clients in CRM.
• Provide excellent customer service by crafting unique touch points, promptly responding to requests or communications, and establishing a positive relationship with all customers.
• Attend majority of home games as assigned to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives.
• Participate in educational opportunities on product offerings, pricing and sales strategies, as well as market trends and industry standard methodologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and sales experience.
• 1 year of ticket sales or service experience with a pro or college sports team.
• Possess a results-oriented, competitive and dedicated attitude.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to efficiently balance numerous business relationships in a professional manner.
• Ability to work well on a team and independently.
• Passionate about building a sales career in the sports industry.
• Digital literacy required; experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
• Experience with Salesforce and Archtics is helpful.
• Ability to travel to meet prospects or ticket members as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
