Position Overview: The Manager, Events position is responsible for managing all facility and contractual obligations for assigned concert and team events from the time the event is booked through settlement.
In this role you will be committed to providing exceptional service and enhancing the arena experience for all of our clients and guests. Responsibilities:
• Lead all aspects of arena special events and concerts from the time the event is booked through settlement.
• For non-tenant events review contract obligations, create accurate ticket manifests in collaboration with the Box Office and Sr. Event Manager, and support CAD show builds.
• Coordinate with arena departments to fulfill contract obligations and successfully produce assigned events for our clients and patrons.
• Serve as day-to-day liaison for assigned primary arena tenants and internal partner groups including reviewing and approving event requests.
• Work home games and assist with execution of game day activities with assigned primary tenants.
• Communicate event information and needs to building staff as needed.
• Review event technical and production riders to determine availability of all provisions as outlined; and coordinate arrangements to procure equipment, labor and permits as needed.
• Serve as on-site arena production representative during assigned events, arriving at load-in and remaining on site until supervisory duties are complete.
• Capture and organize information on major upcoming booked events, traveling as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 4 years of live event or other related professional experience.
• Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and ticketing software knowledge is required.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to multi-task and balance business relationships in a professional and confidential manner.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of MS Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
