Position Overview: The Manager, DEI & Supplier Diversity will be responsible for developing initiatives that build and cultivate an open and inclusive environment and works with the People & Culture team to ensure the successful creation and implementation of policies, programs, and practices that drive MSE's diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda forward.

Responsibilities:
• Act as a DEI Champion to ensure MSE's policies, practices, and programs are aligned to the DEI strategy and goals; identify and address any gaps required to achieve the DEI goals.
• Serve as DEI subject matter expert to help build strategies and action plans that support MSE's DEI goals, making recommendations for new or modified initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with the DEI Council to find opportunities to further develop DEI strategy, programs, and initiatives.
• Develop, lead, and manage MSE's supplier diversity & sustainability program; provide direction and supervision related to the use of diverse enterprises; manage the program using proven analytical methods and procedures.
• Develop plans to ensure appropriate identification, qualification, and inclusion of diverse suppliers.
• Communicate and design messages to increase awareness and engagement, convey policies and standard processes related to supplier diversity and sustainability; serve as liaison to external organizations and conduct benchmarking studies.
• Introduce new diverse suppliers to participate in sourcing actives and long-term planning.
• Collaborate with business operations managers to ensure consistent supplier diversity approach across all MSE entities and diverse supplier goal setting.
• Identify, research, and access capabilities of diverse vendors to create inclusive supplier base across spend categories.
• Contribute to key decisions and/or recommendations concerning supplier diversity category strategies including sourcing, negotiation, contract awards, and supplier management.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key diverse vendors as well as counterparts at other sports & entertainment companies.
• Positively represent MSE to the business community by hosting, presenting, and participating in outreach programs that advance diversity in supplier base.
• Serve as an expert on Supply Chain Sustainability; be responsible for all external reporting activities, social responsibility surveys and all other aspects related to responsible sourcing.
• Track tier 1 and tier 2 spend targets; actively work with finance department to track spend vs goals.
• Manage supplier registration portal/tool while educating internal clients on how to use tool and monitoring activity of tool.
• Put together presentations for internal teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Prior experience in DEI and procurement including supplier diversity preferred.
• Demonstrated success in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating DEI programs and initiatives.
• 5 years' work experience including strategy development and implementation, product development, supply chain management, business process re-engineering.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and vendor management.
• Ability to be resourceful and apply strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to work through complex challenges.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written thoughts, ideas, and facts.
• Robust people skills that include developing positive relationships and solving problems.
• Excellent interdisciplinary, intercultural, influence, and networking skills.
• Experience leading and influencing teams.
• Ability to support DEI mission and strategic vision.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
