Position Overview: The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Intern will support DEI initiatives by working with various departments to consolidate information coming in from multiple sources about ways colleagues can educate themselves, each other, and stay informed on ways to get involved with DEI.

Responsibilities:
• Assist DEI/Employee Resource Groups efforts to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Provide support for employee engagement and DEI engagement efforts.
• Benchmark DEI processes and programs, update training materials, and promote jobs & events on various social media channels.
• Assist in the build-out of the internal and external DEI website.
• Draft professional emails, fliers, and corporate communication materials that clearly and optimally communicate DEI information to internal audience.
• Support the facilitation of DEI workshops and employee events.
• Provide day to day administrative support.
• Assist with the planning for cultural heritage celebrations.
• Assist in the development of Supplier Diversity Vendor Portal.
• Support the development of multicultural marketing research and compile recommendations regarding priority audience issues around entry into sports profession.
• Provide assistance in coordinating marketing collateral.
• Assist in event management support for internal events.
• Provide project management support for summer programs and marketing campaigns targeted to youth.
• Assist in updating internal communications channels.
• Research and identify DEI best methods and strategies.
• Analyze event data on current initiatives and identify areas for growth.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college/university rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or post-doctoral students and remain academically enrolled throughout the internship.
• A great teammate with strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrable design and presentation skills.
• Manages time efficiently and pays close attention to detail.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a strong work ethic and eagerness to work in a demanding environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Keen interest in DEI and company culture.
• Preferred subject areas include Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
