Position Overview: The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day basketball communications efforts for the Capital City Go-Go (NBA G League) and Washington Mystics (WNBA). In addition, the position will have the opportunity to support basketball communications functions for the Washington Wizards (NBA) and assist with strategic communications for all three teams.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as point of contact for all daily basketball communications activities for the Go-Go and Mystics (including at designated road games).
• Coordinate all media services responsibilities and manage game night communications staff/game day media relations operations.
• Manage logistics/facilitate interviews/call-ins/photo shoots/video shoots for Go-Go/Mystics staff and players.
• Create and produce external guides, documents (releases, bios, etc.) and collateral materials.
• Design and author game notes for all regular season, preseason games and postseason games.
• Responsible for compliance with G League/WNBA-mandated communications responsibilities.
• Support Wizards communications functions and assist with essential communications as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-3 seasons of applicable work experience within team sports communications.
• Knowledge of InDesign.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
