MKG is searching for a smart, enthusiastic Senior Account Executive to help manage of the agency's largest accounts. Candidates must have 3+ years experience working directly with clients, agency partners, and internal teams to deliver on projects from client brief through to execution. Experience working in experiential marketing, brand marketing and/or client relations is desired.
The SAE will report directly into the Sr. Account Manager on the business as part of a team of three. They will support the SAM on all large-scale initiatives, while also owning/driving the success of smaller programs.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support SAM in planning and executing all marketing programs.
- Lead smaller scale programs, managing up to the AD as needed.
- Ongoing client management.
- Serve as internal brand custodian, organizing and maintaining internal resources, effectively communicating brand guidelines, goals and expectations to resources within and outside the agency.
- Collaborate and liaise with inter-agency teams in cross-discipline projects.
- Actively contribute to creative ideation for brand activations and initiatives.
- Prepare meeting materials and author and circulate thorough notes for all status meetings and project related meetings.
- Establish, coordinate and enforce internal and external deadlines and deliverables
- Onsite support at events, as needed.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have an understanding of the experiential landscape
- Have an interest in keeping up with the latest industry trends
- Have a general understanding of the production process
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues
- Be able to think creatively about a variety of challenges and apply their organizational skills accordingly
Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Have the ability to manage up
- Ability to multi-task across multiple projects/disciplines
- Up to 50% travel time during peak seasons
- Must love dogs!
