Los Angeles based entertainment company SCH Entertainment LLC home to new talent management firm Missmanaged is seeking a hard-working manager to join the team. We represent artists, actors, and content creators ages 8 - 28.
We are exclusively looking for candidates with a strong interest in both traditional and digital talent management, pop culture, film and music, and brand integrations. Industry knowledge and networking skills are a must. Must have extensive knowledge of the music, film & tv industries as well as be in the know of digital endeavors and trends. Experience in music or the digital landscape a plus.
Additionally, must have previous paid experience working in entertainment and be comfortable working with talent on strict deadlines. We will consider recent college graduates with experience interning at a talent management firm, talent agency, or label.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, ambitious, creative, career-driven, and looks forward to growing with the company.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Contractual law basic knowledge
Experience dealing with talent
Industry knowledge
Excellent work ethic
Positive attitude and quick thinker
Excellent at follow up and follow through
Passion for music, film, or the digital landscape
Passion for talent management with awareness of industry structure
Experienced social media user and in-the-know with trends
Mac system, Keynote, Google sheets, Pages/Word, Breakdown Express, Casting services, IMDb, Variety Insight, etc
Qualifications:
- 4 year bachelors degree OR equivalent experience
- Previous label/agency/management experience required
