Part Time Unpaid Internship
The Milwaukee Bucks are seeking a Business Analytics Intern. The Intern will focus on maintaining and improving sales and KPI metric reports across all departments. This employee will gain exposure to every aspect of business operations by assisting with quantitative and qualitative analytical projects related to ticket sales, corporate sponsorships, retail sales, marketing, digital and finance for the Bucks, Marquette, and Arena Concerts/Shows.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reporting
• Run existing daily/weekly and game-by-game reports
• Assist in building new daily/weekly and game-by-game reports
• Put together weekly and monthly summaries to be distributed to management teams
• Reports include:
• Inventory management
• Primary market
• Secondary market
• Sales rep performance
• Sales revenue
• Opportunities and leads
• Ticket sales and corporate sponsorship revenue reporting
• Post-game surveys
• Data collection and research
• Log daily/weekly data
• Ticket sales by game
• Digital marketing metrics by game
• Market research
• Support team in gathering customer data for ad hoc customer profile projects
• Dynamic pricing
• Assist in evaluating ticket pricing and making recommendations on price changes
Qualification Requirements:
• Current undergrad or grad student
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office, especially Excel
• Exposure to analytical programs such as R and SQL is a plus
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as an ability to apply higher-level judgment and strategic thinking
• Compelling presence and ability to manage relationships with key constituents as appropriate
• Highly organized, energetic, self-directed business style, with strong ability to prioritize
• Has worked and succeeded in an environment of measurable metrics and results
• High energy, forward-thinking and collaborative individual who thrives in a dynamic setting
