Job Summary
This position is responsible for the choreography and direction of the Wisconsin Herd Deer Stand. The Deer Stand Manager will oversee and assist with auditions, game-day activities, organization and execution of team rehearsals, and related responsibility and administration.
Game / Event Responsibilities
• Game night responsibilities – Yes
• Approximate number of games worked per season – ALL HOME GAMES
• May get roughly 2-8 office hours per game week to prep
Job Description
• Choreograph all chants and cheers within Deer Stand
• Think of props for purchase that would be engaging
• Coordinate the appearances and tracking of those members within the Deer Stand
• Continue to engage with people to try to find new members and build the database currently held for the Deer Stand so that it's consistently filled and energized
• Manage & supervise Deer Stand members to maintain the professionalism and performance quality of the Deer Stand; enforce rules, guidelines and expectations and any disciplinary actions that may be needed for those attending the game
• Work with Director of Game Production to design and order potential shirts for Deer Stand members
• Be the point person for all internal departments with questions and requests for the Deer Stand
• Assist in generating new ideas for game entertainment including music direction and prompts
Job Qualifications
• High School Diploma, GED required- College Degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, verbal and written
• Management experience with strong leadership skills.
• Extremely energetic!
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Able to take creative direction and feedback.
Physical & Mental Requirements
• While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
