Part Time Job
Summary
Lead the fan and associate experience for the retail team at American Family Fields of Phoenix during Spring Training under the direction of the Senior Director-Merchandise. Oversee daily store operations, provide direction to Retail Sales Associates in accordance with Club's customer service, sales and applicable operation standards.

• Drive in-store fan experience through demonstrating the Brewers Team Store GLOVE standards.
• Greet, Listen, Offer, Validate & Enhance
• Train retail associates in Brewers Team Store GLOVE standards
• Demonstrates and trains strong selling behaviors
• Monitor and manage the retail sales floor and cash wrap areas in all locations to ensure that customers are receiving an exceptional fan experience, the store presentation is clean and organized and safety standards are maintained throughout the retail stores, kiosks and portables
• Foster an engaging associate environment through meaningful recognition and feedback
• Troubleshoots customer issues as needed
• Manage, lead and delegate store opening and closing tasks and processes
• Effectively communicate store updates to retail front office and Brewers Team Store staff
• Lead and maintain Brewers Team Store merchandising standards
• Place product on the sales floor according to merchandise map/vendor groupings
• Receive shipments from vendors and verify the accuracy of package contents
• Report any manifest discrepancies to Senior Director-Merchandising
• Move product to assigned warehouse location utilizing retail point-of-sale system
• Pull and transfer product from warehouse location and prepare for the sales floor
• Transport product to and from retail locations throughout the stadium in an efficient and timely manner
• Stock and arrange merchandise on shelves maintaining visual standards
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and inventory
• Assist in conducting physical inventory as needed
• Executes and maintains Brewers Team Store cleaning and safety standards
• Watch for and recognize security risks and potential thefts
• Complete ad hoc retail tasks as needed
Qualifications

Education
/Work Experience
• Retail management experience preferred (minimum of one year).
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Prior experience working with point of sale (POS) system required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
Computer Skills
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to the following weather conditions, which may include hot to cold temperatures and various forms of precipitation or inclement weather. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can vary from quite loud to moderate or quiet.
Work Hours
This is a part-time, in-season position that requires open availability through the duration of the Spring Training season (typically February thru March/early April) which may include days and weekends. Shifts typically start 3-4 hours prior to game time and conclude once game has ended and closing tasks have been completed.
