Los Angeles-based, international production company Mike Mosallam Productions (MMP), with a focus on compelling and authentic content within the intersectionality of identities, seeks Assistant to President for general office duties, scheduling, social media, script coverage and research to join our close-knit team. Ideal candidate is a self-starter, learns quickly, has knowledge of the Microsoft Office bundle, social media and basic Photoshop experience a plus. Bachelor's Degree in Film/Entertainment, Communications, the Arts and/or similar preferred.
In reflection of company culture, Queer and/or POC candidates are HIGHLY encouraged to apply. Position will be part-time and remote until such time that the world opens up again, ideal candidate will be LA-based or planning to move to LA within 6 months. Competitive, hourly pay.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain MMP's operations and procedures by controlling correspondence; designing e-filing systems; assigning and monitoring client functions.
• Draft correspondences and other formal documents.
• Plan and schedule appointments.
• Occasional script coverage and research as needed.
• Maintain operational efficiency by planning and implementing internal systems and layouts.
• Keep CEO & team informed by reviewing and analyzing weekly agenda; summarizing information.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in office administration or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office bundle, basic Photoshop skills a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of the social media landscape and tools to elevate company's social media presence.
• Interest in film & entertainment and aptitude to learn swiftly.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
