We are looking to hire a full-time coordinator pursuing a career in publicity. Ideal candidates will be interested in gaining further hands on experience in a positive, collaborative and nurturing environment with an opportunity to advance within the company.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
• Assist the team with day-to-day tasks, projects, scheduling, pitching, et al.
• Work closely with press, studios, filmmakers, talent and talent representatives including via phone, email and day-to-day administrative work.
• Assist with compiling and management of client media coverage distribution.
• Maintain various client-related or company-related publicity documents including schedules, status reports, calendars, critics grids, reaction/quote memos, etc.
• Manage publicity materials including photos/stills, clips/trailers, promotional.
• Assist in the coordination of press interviews, schedules, events, et al.
• Assist in pitching clients for potential press opportunities, draft press release, creating press kits, etc.
• Conduct research as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and 1-2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of the film industry.
• Ability to cultivate and nurture strong relationships with the press.
• Ability to interact with persons at all levels including talent, filmmakers, press, etc.
• Ability to work independently, use good judgment and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Detailed oriented and highly organized.
• Computer literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe and other programs.
