Position Summary:
The Video Manager will storyboard, plan, produce and edit videos to effectively share information, promote and market Miami Marlins. As part of the Creative Services team, the candidate will develop short and long-form video that support marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotions. Content will be prepared to deliver through institutional assets, Marlins Vision, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other digital channels. The position requires evening and weekend hours as dictated by the department's events and game day responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
• Organize and direct all aspects of video production, including coordinating location scouting, talent selection, audio production and acting as lead cinematographer on smaller-scale projects
• Operate or coordinate operation of lights, audio, and camera support equipment
• Own the post-production workflow on all video projects, including video/audio editing, color correction, etc.
• Manage creation and distribution of all video assets
• Work with advertising, video production, or other third party agencies as needed
Qualifications
& Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Video Production or Broadcasting or similar field
• 5 – 7 years in marketing/advertising/digital/social at a corporation, agency or media company.
• Exceptional cinematography and video production skills
• Demonstrated knowledge in all areas of video production, including storyboarding, lighting, sound, cinematography, editing, color correction, and publishing
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Passion for creating energetic, impactful video content
• Possess solid work ethic, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Possess strong collaboration skills and interpersonal skills.
