Position Summary: The Director of Partnership Development is responsible for selling available marketing assets, with a focus on developing business relationships, across various platforms within the Miami Marlins corporate partnership program including, but not limited to, entitlements, in-stadium signage, promotions and radio. Essential Functions: Develop and grow corporate partner relationships to ensure departmental revenue growth and manage and maintain existing accounts on an annual basis. Establish strong relationships throughout the corporate community both locally and nationally. Develop written proposals for business prospects by developing an understanding of potential partners marketing and business goals. Work with other members of the Partnerships, Sales, Marketing, and other organizational departments in the analysis, acquisition, and implementation of strategic corporate partnerships that are consistent with organization objectives and structure. Demonstrate the ability to work with all personality types at the staff and management levels. Develop and manage prospective client lists and provide accurate, reliable sales forecasts and status updates. Evaluate client satisfaction, retention, and growth. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to meet challenging sales objectives in a high profile, competitive marketplace- managing tight deadlines and multiple projects. Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 10 years of partnership sales experience required. Sports, brand, entertainment, and/or corporate partnership sales preferred.
