Position Summary:
The Coordinator, Member Benefits and Events is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and operation of a member Loyalty program year round. The role will also support in all planning and execution of season member and prospect events within the department.
Essential Functions:
• Operate member online Loyalty program along with the vendor of choice and MLBAM.
• Assisting in all planning of season member holder and season member prospect events including: working with operations/ground crew/sales & service staff/Levy Restaurants, sending out invites and organizing the attendee lists, follow an event summary before and after the event, as well as all other functions associated with the execution of the event.
• Coordinate all email communication efforts to season members regarding the fan loyalty program and standard season ticket member benefits.
• Facilitate promotions, and fulfill memorabilia in a timely manner.
• Devise strategy for delivering the principles of Fan Loyalty in the offline world as well as the online world.
• Collaborate with supervisor to create and develop strategies, ideas, approaches and signature initiatives that will drive consistent fan engagement.
• Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate loyalty program activations, and ensure all online organizational goals and programs are executed and delivered with proper messaging.
• Develop an operational plan for all loyalty initiatives.
• Accommodate the customer support needs of the loyalty program.
• Execute a set of benefits and rewards that have been structured to suit the needs of the varying fan base as instructed by the leadership team.
• Ensure systems are working technically – that points are being awarded correctly and that the program is compelling within the Ballpark app, etc.
• Assessing and managing point values – both on the accrual and redemption sides.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Proficiency with interactive technology
• Exceptional writing and grammatical skills, as well as expert knowledge of online culture and jargon
• Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
• Coachable with A willingness to grow and adapt skill sets and knowledge to execute the position at an elite level
• Collaborative team player able to work with a variety of departments and different personalities
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Service, Communications or related field
• A minimum of (1) year professional work experience (sports/entertainment/loyalty/service)
