Full Time Job
Description of the Position: The e-Commerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for all online activities: building, executing and managing our e-commerce marketing strategy. This role requires you to be business minded, tech savvy and creatively curious. The e-Commerce Marketing Manager will drive strategic growth on our digital properties through the use of digital advertising, social media, SEO/SEM strategy, promotions and content. The position is highly collaborative and will involve working with many other departments, including retail, developers, social media, email marketing, creative and the marketing and customer service team. You should always be looking for new areas of e-Commerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the e-Commerce business:
• Planning
• Content strategy and development
• Website layout/optimization
• Promotional campaigns and online marketing
• Web Analytics and Web Technologies
• Serve as liaison and primary point of contact with cross functional partners acting as a project manager to test, evaluate, prioritize, manage and implement e-Commerce initiatives
• Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans supporting the overall retail strategy
• Work closely with the retail department to manage and execute the online retail strategy, and provide insight and direction that could help impact the overall retail strategy.
• Manage user experience of the website including site navigation, content development and promotional campaigns
• Implement and manage all aspects of web analytics related to e-Commerce and communicate relevant information to team members
• Implement new online business strategies and initiatives and make recommendations based on analytics and data
• Develop strategies to increase website traffic and customer acquisition
• Implement SEO support for product descriptions
• Implement marketing campaigns that complement season events and campaigns
• Daily and weekly reporting on e-Commerce channel KPIs
• Oversee web site production, including working closely with product photographer, graphic design, and developers.
• Analyze web traffic and sales data, determining a growth strategy and opportunities for improvement.
• Make it a priority to stay current with trends and future technology that could impact the Miami HEAT's e-Commerce footprint.
• Web Maintenance and troubleshooting
Desired Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in the e-commerce space and online marketing platforms
• Expertise on current e-Commerce industry best practices
• Extensive knowledge of Shopify e-Commerce platform
• Strong business judgment and decision making skills
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM
• Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting results and & drawing conclusions
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Self-starter, proactive, and comfortable multi-tasking
