Description of the Position: Design and implement cutting-edge solutions to improve and enhance basketball operations in the areas of application and database design, development, implementation and support. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Implementation of interactive software applications that aid in basketball operations decision making.
• Identify and suggest as needed application development areas to improve productivity and lower cost.
• Assess, gather and document requirements and specifications for development and implementation of new software applications.
• Provide tactical/strategic technical suggestions in matters related to emerging technologies.
• Implement industry best practice security features for the team's software applications.
BS MIS/ CIS and at least 3 years of experience. Development experience in ASP.NET 1.1, 2.0 & 3.0; .NET Core; Experience with Client/Server architectures (3/ n-tier); Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles; Proficient in C#, RestAPI, Web Services, JavaScript, Ajax, Angular.js, Node.js, JQuery, MVC, WCF, Microsoft Azure and Serverless environments, CD / CI with Azure DevOps, Gitflow Workflow; Silverlight 2.0 experience a plus; Solid database design & development experience using SQL Server or Oracle; Visualization experience using Tableau or Power BI; Basketball knowledge and understanding;
