Full Time Job
The Finance Manager will manage financial planning and analysis for MGM's Worldwide Television Distribution group. The individual will prepare the long range plan, monthly operating reviews, and quarterly forecasts.
Responsibilities
The position will be primarily responsible for the following key functions, with a focus on Television Finance:
• Key finance liaison for worldwide television licensing business
• Perform analysis, provide insights and develop communications for a range of Financial Planning deliverables to Senior Management, including:
• Monthly Operating Reviews
• Quarterly forecasts
• Budget and Long Range Plan
• Work cross-functionally with the Sales Distribution and Sales Operations teams to gather inputs and understand risks and opportunities to accurately forecast revenues
• Develop a deep understanding of television output deals. Review, analyze and track these deals on a monthly basis and work towards ensuring revenue and margin maximization on deals
• Reconcile and consolidate financial results, identifying key drivers of performance and timing variances in the forecast
• Collaborate with Accounting department during quarterly and year-end close processes
to help maintain the Oracle Essbase database
• Oversee one direct report
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, Economics or other quantitative field
• Prior experience in TV and Film industry preferred
• Understanding of entertainment accounting, content distribution and international markets a plus
• Minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in financial planning, strategic planning, corporate finance

• Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen and the ability to work with financial models
• Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong relationship building skills and a highly professional "client service orientation"
• Must be an excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent communicator in both oral and written settings
• High energy level; strong work ethic
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint; knowledge of SAP and Essbase preferred
