Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking a Creative Asset Manager who will work alongside MGM's Theatrical and Television Marketing teams to manage the organization and distribution of all creative assets, in support of international releases. They will provide day-to-day client services supporting internal team members and top MGM partners. In addition, they will work alongside MGM's Technical Services group, to aid in the migration of our marketing assets during the launch of our new cloud-based asset management solution.
Creative Asset Management Responsibilities:
• Manage all marketing assets within our internal drives and the new cloud-based systems
• Oversee the delivery and in-take of all marketing assets from our producing partners to MGM for each title
• Ensure all assets are to spec, uploaded to our systems, permissioned and delivered on time internally and to partners
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to manage the delivery of time tables
• Respond to requests or questions from internal and external partners related to all marketing assets
Partner Services Responsibilities:
• Foster strong relationships between MGM and our key partners, distributors, licensees, etc.
• Create and maintain marketing guidelines for each title and distribute to partners as needed
• Work alongside our Legal, Sales and partner teams to ensure all marketing assets adhere to MGM guidelines
• Distribute information to key licensees in support of their releases and bridge promotions as needed
• Provide recommendations for streamlining processes related to asset distribution to our international partners
Asset Re-Org Responsibilities:
• Gain a deep understanding of how all marketing assets are currently organized within our drives
• Lead process mapping sessions with Theatrical, Television, Creative Services and Archives team members to gain a deep understanding of current processes and procedures
• Provide recommendations for creating cross-departmental efficiencies and the organization of all marketing assets
• Oversee the migration of all marketing assets during the launch of our new cloud-based asset management solution
Qualifications:
• 5 to 7 years' experience working in a similar role within the entertainment industry
• Attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills are of the highest importance
• In depth experience using cloud-based Media Management systems and working with metadata
• Ability to lead internal process mapping sessions to identify inefficiencies and provide solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent client services to high level executives
• Proficient in managing the delivery of time tables internally and externally
