Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. ("MGM") is seeking a Coordinator of Contract Services to assist the Worldwide Distribution Services department in output deal administration, package deal administration, and sequential administration for the territories of Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Sales for advisement of potential deals to clear product, analyze term sheets, and provide departmental feedback for pending deals
• Provide sales and availability reports based on specific territory/client requirements
• Provide clients with upcoming notices for Output deals
• Monitor Life of Series TV output deals
• Work with Director and Executive Director on notices and windowing
• Maintain Output deal specific trackers
• Create and maintain deal specific abstracts
• Window management for current features and TV series, including monitoring of product availability release dates
• Properly manage product license windows and holdbacks that flow through the sequence of media in their territories.
• Manage deals in association with Sales on new title selections for existing output deals, title substitutions, re-clearance or withdrawing of titles due to rights updates, including direct communication with client on notification of dates and other contractually required terms
• Manage and maintain Acquisition title information
• Input data into the IPM database management system (i.e. contract entry/administration, event processing, and client maintenance).
• Run reports to capture outstanding items such as TBA dates in database; work with sales and clients to resolve
• Work with London office and EMEA team on incoming deal memos and change orders for completeness and accuracy
• Liaise between servicing and financial groups to ensure all contractual obligations have been fulfilled, as well as assist in review of the viability of new clients
• Update spreadsheets, including deal trackers
• Maintain contract files and historical documentation related to each agreement
• Update and maintain sequentials information
• Assist with maintenance and distribution of new and updated business process documents as revised/approved
• Assemble and collate output trackers on a bi-weekly basis
• Enter and update rebill contracts as needed
• Input the theatrical/home video deals received from the Home Entertainment admin group for rights only
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office required
• Familiarity with output deal administration
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Self-motivated team player
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while being mindful of project demands and time constraints
