Temporary Contract Administrator
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc., ("MGM") is seeking to fill a fulltime temporary assignment in Worldwide Deal Management. Worldwide Deal Management identifies and manages product availability, shares strategies for maximized sales/revenue exploitation opportunities, and maintains internal systems tracking all sales and deal terms. The department creates availability lists, clears product, and reviews all incoming deal memos and change orders on a timely basis. WDM determines the qualifiers of new product for inclusion in worldwide output agreements, coordinates with clients to identify product to full fill library volume commitments, sends notifications to clients and provides assistance on various inquiries. The group also prepares and issues a variety of scheduled reports and responds to ad hoc inquiries from internal departments. The successful candidate will be integral in the running, vetting and formatting of availability reports as directed by Contract Services.
Responsibilities:
• Generating availability reports in various territory/media combinations using MGM proprietary database
• Formatting availability reports
• Running Excel macros to ensure the consistency of the reports
• Analysing, filter, compare reports, including extracting data for possible sub-reports
• Investigating data on the reports, bringing any questions or concerns to the Contract Services territory manager
• Working with Contract Services on any needed V-lookups or other higher Excel functions
• Maintaining tracking documents and update as needed
• Data entry as needed
Qualifications:
• Previous experience and proven expertise at an Analyst, Manager, or Paralegal level
• Familiar with the concepts of window management, contract administration, and distribution.
• Strong Microsoft office and software application skills, including advanced Excel
• Bachelor's degree
• Extremely detail oriented
• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
• Strategic thinker and problem solver
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
