Description
Method Software help shape the evolution of our technologies and workflows to enable productions to work more quickly and efficiently. The Pipeline Coordinator helps organize everything within the TD realms and keeps abreast of all work done by show TDs and ATDs.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate all TDs and keep up-to-date with their activity on a daily basis.
• Regularly meet with Show leadership to identify issues and discuss priorities.
• Work with the Lead Pipeline TD to prioritize show feedback.
• Monitor, organize, and track incoming support tickets.
• Assess the importance of support tickets based on feedback from production and adjust priorities accordingly.
• Provide regular updates to shows on ticket status and progress.
• Meet with Head of Software and Project Manager for site to prioritize and schedule TD support and development tasks.
• Escalate issues beyond the capabilities of TDs to the central software development team.
• Run regular ''stand-up'' meetings with TDs for active development projects to confirm expected progress and identify issues.
• Provide point-of-contact from show pipeline support.
• Work with developers to setup demos and communicate updates to production.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
• Experience working directly with production teams.
• Knowledge of the VFX pipeline steps and departments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Warm, welcoming personality.
• Outgoing and interested in gathering and disseminating information.
• Well organized.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with VFX software (Maya, Houdini, Nuke, etc).
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
• Expertise using spreadsheet software such as Excel.
