Description
Provide frontline day-to-day support in administering human resources policies and programs covering a broad range of HR issues which may include staffing, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, diversity initiatives, policy interpretation, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) data entry, validation, maintenance, and reporting.
Implement Studio policies and programs as required in collaboration Studio Human Resource Manager.
Help create global organizational development and employee training programs.
Responsibilities
Support:
• Support exempt and non-exempt recruiting efforts.
• Source and screen applicants, schedule, and conduct interviews.
• Provide critical feedback on candidates and skillsets against job requirements.
• Assist in onboarding new employees and conduct New Hire Orientation.
• Administer day-to-day policies and implement selected human resources programs covering several or all of the following: staffing, employee relations, training and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, diversity initiatives, policy interpretation and HRIS data entry, validation, maintenance, and reporting.
• Conduct employee investigations, where appropriate and as directed, including compilation of summary document with recommendations and review with HR Manager and Studio management.
• Conduct exit interviews; compile and present data to HR Manager and management.
• Oversee leave programs for assigned client group in partnership with the corporate Leave Administrator. This includes Disability, Family and Medical Leave, Sabbaticals, and Workers Compensation.
Training:
• Travel as needed to various Studios to continuously improve and hold training and seminars for locations, as needed.
• Facilitate and/or coordinate management and employee development training to meet immediate and future needs.
• Spend time daily on the production floor soliciting and providing HR services to employees in their work area.
Qualifications
• 3 years employment experience in human resource management, with 2 years experience in media and post production environment
Business Systems Experience
• MS Office Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook proficiency
• XyTech (and ScheduAll if applicable) – All courses
• SAP – Report generation, PO submission
• Novatime – Time entry, Report generation
• Google Docs
