Intern - Recording Studio

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Established production company seeks brilliant interns to work in their new recording studio. Interns will carry out a variety of duties as well gaining real world experience in our studio assisting our in-house producers and engineers with pre-production and recording on artists album projects.

Position Responsibilities:
•Assist with all media relations initiatives for the studio
•Cultivate relationships the artists on our roster
•Coordinate billing purchase orders
•Answer phones, return calls and assist with the recording scheduling
•Help to maintain the cleanliness of the studios and the studio lounge
•Coordinate press mailings
•Various projects as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:
1. A current student with career goals in music production/engineering/overall music industry business.
2. Someone who wants to learn the ropes and realities of the music industry.
3. Must be passionate about all genres of music
4. Must be organized, detail oriented yet also fun and outgoing.
5. Must be available some nights and weekends.
6. Must have own transportation, computer, etc.
7. Ability to work well independently without a local supervisor
8. Good Written and oral communications skills
