Mayflower Entertainment, a celebrity talent procurement, music licensing and booking agency, is seeking a junior Executive Assistant to the Co-Founder in their NYC office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, efficient in the workplace and has some relevant experience (1-2 years) in the entertainment/advertising/public relations field. The Executive Assistant's main duties consist of extensive scheduling, calendar management, email transcribing and assistance with celebrity talent and brand clients. Excellent writing and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential in this role. Because tasks vary daily based upon the needs of the executive, candidates should be immediate problem solvers who are creative and able to think quickly on the spot. The successful candidate will also be tech savvy and thick skinned with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in the entertainment industry, music industry, ad agency, booking agency, or relevant space
- Strong interest and knowledge on the entertainment industry, specifically music and pop culture
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to anticipate needs, problem solve and identify solutions
- Ability to respond efficiently while maintaining flexibility and composure
- Extremely organized and detail oriented while working in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable to a variety of situations with numerous personalities
- Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- Organized and Patient
Bonus:
- Willing to work some nights /weekends as needed (flexible)
- Photoshop skills a plus
