Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the physical delivery of each show on time and on budget.
• Design stereo plan and create stereo schedule specific to each film; track and revise these schedules to anticipate needs of the show/studio, and as changes occur.
• Create, review and track stereo budget.
• Create comparative analysis of vendor bids.
• Work in partnership with the Legal department to prepare and execute vendor contracts.
• Actively monitor the line by line stereo budget alongside the accounting department.
• Work closely with VFX regarding turnover and delivery of shots, and how this impacts the schedule/finishing of the film.
• Initiate 2D VFX Element requests and budget as necessary.
• Locate appropriate stereo vendors and facilities.
• Assist with identifying and hiring stereo staff on shows.
• Leads a team of 10-15 crew meembers (Production Hires) across multiple projects.
Basic Qualifications:
• 7 years of relevant experience.
• Outstanding communication skills, written and oral.
• Demonstrated ability to work with others, both in a supervisory role and as a collaborative team player.
• High level of integrity in handling proprietary and confidential information; promotes confidence with other employees in handling sensitive data.
• Ability to prioritize multiple, changing projects in a dynamic, sometimes high-pressure environment.
• Self-starter, with a proactive can-do, solution-oriented mindset
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Preferred Education
• BS/BA or equivalent.
