Part Time Unpaid Internship
Job Summary:
Marvel, a top-tier entertainment company, is seeking a well-organized and highly motivated individual for a spring internship to support the Global Creative Services, Brand Management and Franchise Planning Department with day-to-day graphic design and digital artwork development.
Responsibilities:
A promising candidate will be proficient in project management, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Interns will be assisting designers with licensing style guide development - including the creation of digital artwork, product mock-up, retail solutions and much more.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic students that have at least 3 years of experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. To qualify for this position applicants must be able to provide portfolio samples that demonstrate their ability to work with Creative Suite programs. Candidate must be available for 29 hours per week.
A digital portfolio is required.
• All candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
• All candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• All candidates must be available during the months of January through May.
• All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Resume must outline other internships, degrees earned, work experience, related clubs and organizations, current major course of study, expected graduation date and extracurricular activities.
• Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period.
• Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Required Education
Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a visual arts or graphic design-related major.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
• Junior, Senior Undergraduate Program student status by arrival date
