Part Time Unpaid Internship
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified intern to join our New Media & Marketing team this fall. Our department oversees the integration of advertisers into Marvel New Media platforms and supports new program initiatives created by the New Media team. The department seeks an intern who can participate in various stages of New Media sales integrations and marketing of print & digital campaigns.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and update promotion decks for department as needed.
• Assist with researching and developing content (pulling quotes, images, etc.) for Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter on a title by title basic
• Research and track trends for a competitive analysis report
• Assist in tracking of promotional partner campaigns for department
• Work with members of the team to help with New Media initiatives
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Interest in sales and marketing
• All candidates must be eligible to work in the US
• All candidates must be at least 18 years old
• All candidates must be available during the months of September through December
• All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
• All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
Preferred Qualifications:
• Resume must outline other internships, degrees earned, work experience, related clubs and organizations, current major course of study, expected graduation date and extracurricular activities.
• Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period.
• Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Required Education
• Currently pursuing BA/BS as communications or marketing major.
• Must be enrolled in college/university
