Job Summary:
The Digital Comics department recreates printed comics into digital comics , working together as a team to complete the many books Marvel makes available for our readers. The Digital Comics department also creates content for subscription-based platforms such as Marvel Unlimited. On Marvel Unlimited, not only do we convert the comics for digital use, we also create the panel-to-panel reading experience. This is a function that will allow you to control the way each page is read. Our job is to make sure that all the comics, from the 1950s to today, are converted and ready for digital sale.
Responsibilities:
• Cover and interior adjustments for digital content
• Rename files for achieving
• Upload digital comics to vendors
• Lay out single issues and collected editions as digital comics
• Lay out comic covers for digital use
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong design skills
• Work well with a team
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
• Basic knowledge of Marvel Comics and its characters
Required Education
BA/BS Degree
