Job Summary:
Marvel, a top-tier entertainment company, is seeking a highly motivated Digital Asset Coordinator to support the Global Brand and Franchise Planning, Creative Services department with day-to-day management of licensing artwork and other digital assets.
Working closely with internal content managers and design teams, this the Digital Asset Coordinator will support departmental functions by cataloguing licensing artwork and helping to prepare it for distribution to Marvel's licensees. The Asset Coordinator will also help field requests for artwork and reference materials to be used in the creation of Marvel's consumer products style guides. This position will also support Marvel Brand operations by managing approval workflows related to licensee contracts and data sets.
A promising candidate must have advanced proficiency in asset management, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
• File management and metadata cataloging for consumer products style guide assets
• Maintain data sets associated style guides and licensee contracts
• Collect and modify publishing artwork assets used in style guide development
• Manage Brand approvals for unique licensing opportunities
• Support Art Requests team by answering licensee requests for specialized artwork
• Coordinate and traffic art files with outside vendors and other Marvel divisions
• Help create and maintain style guide release schedule
• Manage the flow of assets and information between teams and team members
Basic Qualifications:
• 2 to 4 years experience in project management and strong familiarity with intellectual properties
• Experience with data entry and digital asset management software
• Knowledge of Marvel brand and characters a plus
• Familiarity with Open Text, Zendesk, and Oracle management systems a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Bridge)
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency
• Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Strategic critical thinker who also has a high attention to detail
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze and apply data to improve results
• Excellent organizational skills
• MLS, MLIS or equivalent experience preferred
