Job Summary:
Marvel is seeking an entry level Coordinator to support the Marvel Television Distribution, Marketing, and Communications departments in all related operations. Secondary responsibilities will include supporting three executives: VP of Global Content Distribution & Marketing, VP of Marketing & Communications, and VP of Television Communications with day-to-day inter and intra-department needs.
The ideal candidate should be well organized, highly motivated, and an excellent communicator as he/she will be a key liaison of relationships and responsibilities between the Television Distribution, Marketing, and Communications divisions and their respective internal and external business partners. The Coordinator will be expected to increase the accuracy and efficiency of the three departments.
The individual will work closely with the three executives and other staff members to ensure the team has the necessary tools and information to optimize job performance and deadlines are met. There will be ''owned'' tasks and those where providing regular assistance to others is required. Having the ability to manage the fine details while facilitating success of larger goals are key attributes that will distinguish a superior candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Assist three departments with day-to-day operations, project coordination, and communications
• Manage the flow of assets and information between teams/team members
• Coordinate routing and approvals of marketing and communications assets amongst stakeholders
• Maintain distribution, marketing, and communications planning calendars
• Support organizing of conventions, red carpet premieres, special events, and distribution markets
• Coordinate department travel arrangements and process travel expenses
• Attend meetings, create agendas, distribute summary notes, and facilitate timely follow ups
• Maintain three executives' calendar, set meetings, and answer phones
• Generate invoices, bills, and purchase orders
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-3 years administrative or coordinator experience in entertainment business
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, motivated, strong work ethic
- Polished in presentation and communication (written and verbal)
- Excellent time management and project management skills, with ability to multi-task and pivot with shifting priorities
- Skilled at partnering with leaders and peers to create collaborative relationships
- Demonstrated experience with Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Passion for the entertainment welcome and recommended
Required Education
- Bachelor's degree
