We are looking for a professional, self-motivated, and responsible Digital and Social Coordinator for our office in Venice, CA.
Job Description:
The Digital + Social Coordinator will be responsible for assisting social and digital projects, including day-to-day social media content creation, creative development, digital asset management, vendor management, and digital analytics. The Digital + Social Coordinator will ensure projects and tasks are delivered on time, completed with a high level of attention to detail, and that the final product maintains a high standard of integrity and compliance with client and company guidelines.
Social + Digital Responsibilities
• Support the Digital + Social Producer in developing and executing comprehensive digital and social strategies and plans across
client programs
• Help develop monthly content calendars and plans for client, artist, and agency social media channels including but not limited to:
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat
• Create, curate, and manage regular social content including written copy and some image creation with the editorial ability to quickly
adjust content tone and voice in order to adapt to multiple artist and client channels
• Track, report, and analyze digital and social campaigns against business goals, objectives, and key performance indicators
• Stay up to date on industry trends, learning and bringing new platforms and ideas to light for the agency.
• Conduct artist and trend research on an as-needed basis
• Develop and route creative digital assets, including copy decks, presentations, website and email graphics, and banners for
approvals and follow through to ensure on-time delivery of assets
• Responsible for graphic design of select digital assets including social media images, digital banners, and email creative
• Update client and agency websites via content management systems to ensure up-to-date and accurate information
• Develop thorough creative briefs for external vendors and project manage various vendors including, but not limited to, designers
and developers
• Provide daily updates of deliverables to management
• Creating mood boards
• Support the agency's weekly music/brand newsletters by writing and contributing content/ideas
• Responsible for compiling weekly and monthly client reports
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Assisting with office tasks
• Regularly update the contact list for agency's weekly music/brand newsletters
• Ordering & organizing office supplies
• Keeping the kitchen stocked, clean and organized
• Running errands and performing miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned
• Maintaining and updating contact lists, various files, records, indexes and logs
• Performing and coordinating a broad range of our office's administrative duties--storing, organizing, and integrating information for
dissemination to our staff
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (equivalent work experience will be considered)
• 2+ years in a social media, digital marketing, or digital project management role, preferably in the music industry, with a proven ability
to prioritize, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates strong knowledge and thorough understanding of digital landscape and social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Twitter,
YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.)
• Works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of accountability
• Create, maintain, and track comprehensive project schedules
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with initiative and able to anticipate needed steps
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking, adhere to all deadlines, manage multiple
projects and content development simultaneously, and still bring energy and creativity to work each day
• Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere, as well as the ability to work independently and resourcefully in a productive, very
small office environment
• Extremely well-organized and meticulous attention to detail
• Comfortable with analytics and reporting for digital and social metrics including, but not limited to, eCRM data, Facebook Insights,
Twitter Analytics, etc.
• Software Proficiencies
• Required: Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
• Intermediate Skill Level Required: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
