We are a small management/production company that represents both actors and writers. We have produced movies for HBO, Lifetime, independently, as well as plays. Our writer clients have staffed on TV shows as well as selling original pilots and books. We represent both up-and-coming actors and more established ones.
We are looking for an unpaid, part-time intern to work 16-20 hours a week for 3-4 months. We are flexible on days and times (although the office does not open until 10:30a.m). We also have several projects in development based on optioned books and original source material.
The environment is fast-paced. We are looking for someone who is a great multi-tasker, organized, detail-oriented, good at following directions, and knows how to write script coverage (this is a MUST). He/she also must have good technical and communication skills. At times, he/she will be a liaison for agents, casting directors, and producers. This is a great learning environment, especially for those who wish to learn more about the entertainment industry.
The intern will be invited to all industry events and have the opportunity to sit in our client and project meetings.
Requirements:
- Must have a strong interest in the entertainment field. Majoring in Film/Communications/Marketing/similar areas is preferable.
- Must be able to work 16-20 Hours a week (Includes hour lunch breaks). Flexible on days, NOT weekends. 3-4 months.
- Must provide a sample of script coverage with application.
